Mr Griffin trained at Kings College Hospital, London, and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London.
He has a special interest in the surgical management of hip and knee arthritis by total joint replacement, and his practice covers the broad spectrum of elective orthopaedic surgery, including surgery of hand and upper limb disorders, knee injuries and foot disorders.
Mr Griffin was Head of Department, Orthopaedic Service, Wellington Hospital 1996-2009, and is orthopaedic specialist adviser to Wellington Orthotic Centre. He has a long association with Bowen Hospital, and continues as Medical Trustee on the Bowen Trust.
